First Aid: Temporary Steps Before Our Team Arrives

While our engineers are on their way, here's what you can do to limit damage:

Blocked Toilet

• Do not flush again - this will cause overflowing.
• If safe, shut off the toilet's isolation valve behind or near the unit.
• Place old towels or rags around the base to contain possible overflow.

Blocked Sink/Shower/Bath Drain

• Stop running any water into the fixture immediately
• If you have a plunger, attempt gentle plunging, but avoid chemical drain cleaners (they corrode pipes and create toxic fumes).
• Place a bucket or container to collect any backflow.

Main Drain / Outdoor Drain Blockage

• Stop using all water fixtures in the property (toilets, sinks, washing mashines,etc.).
• If foul water is overflowing outdoors, keep children and pets away from the area.
• Do not attempt to clear major outdoor blockages yourself - these require professional equipment.

Important: These steps can reduce immediate flooding but do not solve the problem. Only a trained engineer can fully remove the obstruction and prevent reoccurrence.
